Stargazing at the Mausoleum

An evening of stargazing from the dramatic hilltop location of Monteath Mausoleum. See the huge Borders skyscape through real astronomical telescopes and learn to spot the stars and planets in our galaxy. We have teamed up with Ancrum Astronomy Club for two hours of discovery and learning using their high quality equipment and experienced astronomers. Suitable for adults and youngsters of any age (though not small children), this free event will be signposted from the A68 at Lilliards Edge. Dress warmly. Subject to weather conditions.
