SpringGrass Bluegrass Festival 2023

Welcome to the 2nd annual SpringGrass Bluegrass Festival; a 3-day celebration and showcase of the very best in UK and International bluegrass/americana/folk music with concerts, workshops and picking/jam sessions all weekend at The Vault Arts Centre and the Festival Marquee, in the picturesque market town of Newton Stewart.

This year’s outstanding line-up includes Quick (Scotland), The Mairs Family Band (Scotland), Fritillaries (England), Good Guy Hank (Scotland/Australia) and The Fountaineers (Scotland).

Workshops are free for under 25s to attend and are also free for Weekend Pass holders, and this year include Improvising in Bluegrass, Introduction to Bluegrass Mandolin, Bluegrass Fiddle, Bluegrass Songwriting, Dobro and Bluegrass Guitar.

If you’re a musician, there are picking/jam session opportunities throughout the weekend at both the Festival Marquee and The Vault Arts Centre, as well as in venues throughout the town.
