Learn how to dance like the Romans in this unique workshop! Bring ancient dance to life as you explore movements inspired by the Roman world — all while having fun and staying active in a truly historical way.

Dance was an important part of Roman culture. Dancers appear in mosaics, frescoes, sculptures, and engraved gems, and Roman writers also left us some of the earliest descriptions of dance and movement in the ancient world. This workshop draws inspiration from these sources to recreate some of the rhythms and gestures of Roman performance.

Whether you are curious about history, love dance, or simply want to try something different, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the ancient world in motion.

Spaces limited.
