Moffat Community Observatory - Open Day

This ia a picture of our mid summer open day in the town centre. The observatory open day is a 15 minute walk from the town centre, James Paterson
Everyone is welcome to see our large fixed location telescope together with various sizes of our portable telescopes as a learning workshop. You will also be able to see the hydrogen surface of the sun with our solar telescope. On the social side there will be a raffle, a star treasure hunt, games and refreshments. There will be field toilet facilities.
