Langholm Christmas Lights Switch on

The Switch On of the Christmas Lights takes place in Langholm on Saturday 6th December 2025. The event kicks off from 1pm at The Buccleuch Centre where Santa and Mrs Claus join the townsfolk to perambulate the streets before joining entertainers in the Market Place ready for the switch-on at 4.40pm. Langholm Town Band and singers are in the gazeebo with street entertainers and carousel for children. Street food and the hotels and cafes will be open all day.
