Kirkcudbright Country Fair

This fantastic family weekend is back and bigger than ever for 2026. This year our entertainment includes free rides and amusements for children, as well as a range of headline acts, kids entertainment, face painting, beer tent, craft tent, food tent, stalls, food vendors, Art & Crafts Trail Tent and more!

Tickets for the event are £10 per person, which includes LOADS of great entertainment including:
~ Full day of entertainment in the arena
~ Loads of children’s rides and amusements – can be enjoyed over and over all day!
~ Entertainment tent with regular shows
~ Face painting
~ Art & crafts trail tent with activities for kids

For the first time this year, we’re hosting the Official UK “Wife” Carrying Championships on Sunday 19th July. Come and watch this entertaining and a little bit bonkers event, or grab a partner (the “wife” can be anyone of any gender – friend, spouse, family member – as long as they’re 18) and get involved!
