Ivan Drever + Bruce McKenzie

Orcadian musician, Ivan Drever has been singing, playing and writing since his early teens in his native Orkney. Drever is now resident in the Norwegian town of Kristiansand. A prolific songwriter, he is instantly recognisable by his unique guitar style. Ivan’s songs have been recorded by an impressive list of artists as well as featuring on the music curriculum for Scottish schools.

Opening for Ivan will be Kirkcudbright singer-songwriter Bruce McKenzie. For more than a decade on radio and more than two decades on stage, he’s played other people’s songs; but now he’s performing some of his own. With influences from both sides of the Atlantic, his small town stories are steeped in coastal life.
