Into the deep - Wild swimming experience on the Berwickshire Coast

Join us aboard Pathfinder with local skipper Paul for an exclusive deep-water swimming experience along the stunning Berwickshire coastline. Designed specifically for open-water swimmers looking to take the next step, Into the Deep offers a safe, supportive and personalised introduction to swimming from a boat.

With a maximum of just 6 swimmers, you'll receive individual support from qualified open-water coaches throughout your journey. We'll select the best location for the day's conditions, giving you the opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills and experience the freedom of swimming in deeper water.

This isn't a race and it isn't an endurance challenge. It's about exploring, learning and enjoying the sea at your own pace.

During your experience you'll:

🏊 Build confidence in deep water
🌊 Learn about tides, sea conditions and local marine environments
⚓ Practise deep-water entry, floating and recovery techniques
💙 Discover how to relax and feel comfortable away from the shoreline
🐦 Enjoy wildlife spotting, from seabirds and seals to dolphins and, if we're lucky, orca
🤝 Receive personalised support and coaching throughout
⏱️ Up to 2 hours on the water

You can swim in skins or a wetsuit Swim alongside the boat, float, chat, observe wildlife or simply soak up the experience.

ℹ️ Pathfinder is equipped with onboard toilets and a working lift, making getting in and out of the water comfortable and accessible.

After your swim, enjoy tea and freshly baked scones while taking in the spectacular scenery and hearing stories about our unique coastline and wildlife.

As a memento of your achievement, you'll receive a Swim Certificate and the opportunity for commemorative photos.
