Jules and Greg's Wild Swim - Series 3: Episode 3 - BBC iPlayer

Autumn is a time of gathering, gratitude, and golden light—and what better way to celebrate the season than with a joyful wild swimming weekend in the heart of the Scottish Borders?

Based in beautiful Peebles, this Harvest Festival (of Fun!) is for anyone (over 16 years of age) who loves wild water, community connection, and the magic of nature. Over three glorious days, we’ll dip, laugh, dress up (optional), and delight in everything the Tweed and the turning season have to offer.

Wild Water Swims –

A Fabulous Saturday Dip – Arrive, meet the tribe, have lunch and get crafty before we dip into the weekend with a fabulous relaxed afternoon themed swim. We will also run an optional star gazing  event as part of the dark sky festival.

Two Sunday Dips – Mid Morning themed fun dip and night swim with fabulous lights, walks, crafts and discovery sessions. We also plan on doing a little star gazing as part of the dark sky festival.

Two Fabulous Monday Swims – Greet the day with a revitalising fancy dress dip and close with a final swooshy swim before our castle gathering

Sunset Swim – If the skies are kind, we’ll have a golden swim to end the day in peace and beauty

Fancy Dress Swims – Costumed capers encouraged! Expect seasonal silliness and prizes for creativity

Seasonal Lunches Provided – Enjoy delicious, nourishing lunches on Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Intrigue, Foraging & Life in the River Walks – Discover the history of the area, be mindful, learn to identify nature’s seasonal larder  and the life in and around the river on one of our guided  riverside rambles.

Historical Tales & River Lore – Discover the stories of the Tweed, Peebles, and the surrounding lands

Nature’s Magic Moments – Unplug and reconnect with yourself and the elements

Creative Explorations – Tap into your artistic side with optional sketching, journaling or mindful nature-based crafts

Moments of Mindfulness & Peace – Gentle pauses woven throughout the weekend to ground, reflect, and simply be—because stillness is part of the swim too

Final Gathering at Neidpath Castle – We’ll end the weekend with a warming drink and celebratory gathering in the magical setting of this ancient riverside stronghold
