Grav has sold out venues across the UK, been performed in the USA, won multiple awards, and turned into a BAFTA Cymru award winning feature length film for S4C.

In 2007, aged just 56, Ray Gravell died after succumbing to complications from diabetes.

Known to millions for his legendary exploits on the rugby field, ‘Grav’ was and is so much more than that. An actor, broadcaster, cultural icon, father and husband: a man with a life packed full of stories that deserve to be heard.

Directed by Peter Doran, this one-man show celebrates a life well lived.

“A really warm, charming play. A huge compliment to the play that I knew very little of Ray Gravell going in, and came out like I'd met the man himself thanks to the virtuoso performance by Gareth J Bale.” - Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022 audience comment
