Eden Wool Gathering

date_range 1st August, 2026 - 2nd August, 2026

Every effort has been made to verify the accuracy of the event information but we recommend contacting the event organisers before attending.

Eden Wool Gathering is a celebration of wool, fibre, and the people who love working with it. Set in the heart of rural Galloway, it brings together shepherds, spinners, felters, weavers, knitters, and fibre artists for a day filled with skill-sharing, inspiration, and genuine connection.

It’s not just a market — it’s a gathering in the true sense of the word. Flocks, fleeces, yarns, handmade tools, natural dyes, and finished pieces sit alongside demonstrations and conversations that keep traditional skills alive. Many of the makers use their own sheep and locally sourced fibres, keeping the journey from field to finished piece beautifully close to home.

There’s a strong sense of community at Eden Wool Gathering — supportive, welcoming, and rooted in the land. It celebrates heritage crafts while encouraging new ideas, new friendships, and new collaborations.

Above all, it’s about honouring wool — from sheep to skein to stunning finished work.
