Easter Fun Day

Hop along to an eggs-cellent family day out at Drumlanrig. In addition to the Adventure Playground and stunning Castle Gardens, we have some egg-citing activities and cracking crafts for you to enjoy this Easter!

It wouldn’t be the holidays without an Easter trail! Take in some of the beautiful areas of the Castle Gardens as you follow the fun Easter trail.

You can also try your luck in our competitions from ‘find the golden egg’ to ‘guess the number of eggs in the jar’.

And don’t forget to bring along your best Easter bonnet for your chance to win a prize!

In addition to the Adventure Playground, you will find some brilliant activities for the whole family to take part in. Familiy favourites include face painting, trampolines and an inflatable slide.

But don’t miss Scottish Assault Courses with bubble football, axe throwing, a mini gun range and a mini assault course – there will be something for everyone.

Or if you are interested in delving into the history of Drumlanrig take part on one of our much-loved Castle Tours .

Little ones can also enjoy a whole Easter basket’s worth of crafting fun! From decorating Easter Eggs, to colouring in, and creating bunny-tastic masks.

With so much going on you will be in need of a tasty treat! You’ll find some delicious lunch options in the Castle Tearoom, from homemade soup to light lunches. Or you can pick up something fresh and tasty from the team at the Larchwood Cabin, serving up tasty sandwiches, paninis, home baking and ice cream.

Easter Fun Day takes place on Sunday 31 March, from 11am to 4pm (activities until 3pm).

Usual Gardens and Adventure Playground entry applies, however you can also take advantage of our Annual Pass, giving you the chance to visit the Gardens and Adventure Playground for free until the end of October.
