Demijohn's Big Spring Weekend 2026

Join us for a Weekend of fine art and delicious local food & drink as part of Spring Fling Open Studios 2026 Bank Holiday Weekend.

Demijohn’s Big Spring Weekend is held within Glenlair Steading, near Castle Douglas, over the second May Bank Holiday from Sat 23rd to Mon 25th May 2026 and is free to attend.

Now in its third year, Demijohn’s Big Spring Weekend will have more exhibiting artists and activities than in 2025. Our favourite Demijohn Cocktails will be available to purchase, as well as a pop up Cafe serving teas, coffees, home baking and more.

What can you expect?
This popular event is will run daily between 10am to 5.30pm from Sat 23rd to Mon 25th May, with a special late evening opening until 8pm on Saturday 22nd May.

Visitors will be able to enjoy unique works of art exhibited by both Sally Jennings, a talented Glasgow based painter and print maker, and a highly skilled Morayshire jeweller, Jesse Ball along with other Spring Fling artists.

Our Demijohn store within Glenlair Steading will also be open daily from 10am to 5.30pm daily for free tastings of our unique range of handmade, sustainable food and drink.
