Dark Skies Night Swim

Experience the magic of swimming beneath the stars as part of the South of Scotland Dark Skies Festival.

Join me for a memorable evening adventure at a beautiful loch near Newton Stewart. As darkness falls and the night sky comes alive above us, we’ll take to the water for an atmospheric outdoor swim surrounded by the peace and quiet of Galloway.

There’s something rather special about swimming after dark. The world feels quieter, the senses feel sharper and, with a little luck, we’ll be treated to a spectacular display of stars overhead.

After our swim, we’ll warm up with a hearty bowl of homemade veggie chilli — the perfect end to a chilly, starry evening.

This relaxed and friendly experience is suitable for confident outdoor swimmers who are comfortable swimming in open water. Full event details, including the exact meeting location and what to bring, will be provided to everyone booked onto the event.
