Step into the festive spirit at this year’s Drumlanrig Castle Christmas Market, where seasonal magic meets local craftsmanship.

Inside a large heated marquee on the Oval Lawn, discover a delightful array of food, drinks, arts, crafts, and bespoke creations from talented local traders. Enjoy browsing for unique gifts and festive treats while soaking in the joyful Christmas atmosphere.

Your ticket includes access to the Gardens and Grounds, open across both days of the Market. Take a refreshing winter stroll through the Gardens and enjoy the beauty of the Castle’s seasonal landscape.

Warm up with mulled wine, hot drinks, and a Christmas-themed menu in the Castle Tearoom. Outside, savour hearty snacks and meals from on-site catering vans, toast marshmallows at our firepit station, and take home delicious local produce, traybakes, and tipples from the marquee.

Pick up a handcrafted wreath made by the Drumlanrig Castle Garden team — or order online for collection throughout the season.

Keep little ones entertained with festive face painting, available for a small additional charge.

For something truly special, don’t miss Santa’s Grotto and Breakfast with Santa — both pre-bookable experiences running across the weekend. Please book early, as walk-ins cannot be accepted.

Experience a magical carriage ride through the Estate on Sunday 7 December only, drawn by the magnificent Blackstone Clydesdales, with the Castle as your fairytale backdrop. Donations are welcome to enjoy the ride.

We’re proud to support Cash for Kids as our charity partner this year. Visit their festive stall for a tombola and learn more about their fantastic work in the local community.

Enjoy a heartwarming performance by Wallace Hall Academy School Choir on Saturday 6 December at 3 pm, filling the air with classic carols and Christmas cheer.

Castle Tours will also be running throughout the weekend — early booking is recommended as places fill quickly.
