Beirhope by Night

Join us under some of the UK’s darkest skies and prepare to be dazzled. Our friend and fabulous astrophotographer Ford will host the evening alongside us. He’ll share images and information about the night sky before heading up the hill for quite simply the best kept secret and view point for dark skies. Ford will guide you on using your own smart phones to capture images and show us how to use telescopes. He’ll guide us through the constellations above and share stories of the stars.

If the weather is cloudy or wet we can dip undercover at Beirhope and have some practical hands on experience with the telescope and night time photography.

Fire pits will be lit, marshmallows to toast and warm drinks available to purchase.
