About The Bairnkine Farm Tour

We are a family run organic farm nestling below the Cheviots where we have wool shedding sheep and fattening cattle. We are 10 minutes from Jedburgh and are within easy reach of Edinburgh and Newcastle via the A68.

We offer tours such as Meet the Farmer, Sheep Dog Demonstrations, Walking Tour, Nature and Conservation including a tree planting experience - imagine leaving your own legacy in Scotland by planting a native tree in the rolling Scottish Borders Countryside.

We love sharing our way of life with guests whether it’s the winter and cattle feeding in the shed or lambing outside, whatever the weather, or telling our story of accidentally falling into conservation and thoroughly enjoying it.
