1. The collection of art, furniture and objects at Drumlanrig form part of the world renowned Buccleuch Art Collection. At Drumlanrig the star of the show is the Rembrandt - "An Old Woman Reading" with a room re-imagined to give her the home she deserves! You will also enjoy extraordinary furniture with examples by well known, Charles Boulle.
2. Drumlanrig was also used in hit TV Series Outlander. The Castle (interior and exterior) became 'Bellhurst Manor' home to the Duke of Sandringham in season two of the hit show.

Explore the magnificent Drumlanrig Castle and Gardens. The 'Pink Palace' named after the distinctive local sandstone, is regarded as one of the finest examples of 17th century Renaissance architecture in Scotland and with 40 acres of historic gardens to discover you could easily spend all day! Inside you can admire the world class art collection, with works by Rembrandt, Gainsborough and Reynolds. And hear fascinating tales of the Douglas and Buccleuch families by of our passionate tour guides. You can also explore the Castle gardens with the Head gardener or at your own pace.
