Denholm Dean and Village

Walking

A short circular that explores the charming village of Denholm and the attractive walk up the Dean Burn.

You may want to have a look at two of Denholm’s notable buildings – Dr John Leyden’s thatched house who was a poet and linguist. Also worthy of note is The Text House a superlative example of an Arts and Crafts building.

Denholm lies 3 miles north-east of Hawick on the A698.
