Tweed Trout Festival at Kailzie Fisheries

To mark the start of the 2026 trout season we are hosting an open day at Kailzie Fisheries, part of Kailzie Estate just outside Peebles. It is free to attend and all will be welcomed, families, first time casters and seasoned anglers alike. The day will include a piped procession down to the River Tweed followed by an opening ceremony. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at casting, making flies and learning about river conservation alongside demonstrations, talks, competitions, vendors and refreshments.
