The Sewing Table Retreats

Join us in the beautiful Tweed Valley for 5 days of tranquil surroundings, relaxing evenings by cosy log fires, home cooked lunches and cakes, and of course, sewing. The Sewing Table, Peebles has teamed up with Kailzie Estate to offer truly relaxing and indulgent sewing retreats to brighten your winter.

Retreats are led by Sara, a highly experienced costume professional with over 17 years in the industry. Sara has worked for national theatre and opera companies, as well as on the hit television series Outlander, and is now drawing on her years of experience and deep understanding of patterns and construction to help everyone who comes to class refine and improve their sewing skills.

The Sewing Table Retreats are held on the idyllic Kailzie Estate. They include 5 x nights of accommodation in a charming self catering cottage, two-course lunches every day provided by an on-site chef, exclusive access to the beautiful woodlands and grounds, and four full days of sewing or pattern drafting tuition.

There is no additional accommodation costs for partners who want to come along, so they can spend their days indulging in some biking or golfing or any of the great outdoors that the Tweed Valley has to offer, while you immerse yourself in sewing with expert guidance on hand.
