The Braid Society is an international organisation for professional braiders, teachers, collectors, researchers, students and everyone interested in the art and craft of making constructed and embellished braids and narrow bands.

The Braid Society, founded in 1993, celebrates its 30th year with this unique collection of work. The 30th Anniversary Exhibition showcases a wide range of 2D and 3D techniques undertaken by members around the world including Japanese Kumihimo, Karakumi and Takadai braiding, various Scandinavian narrow band weaving techniques, inkle weaving, tablet weaving, ply-split braiding and sprang.
