Tucked down an atmospheric close just off Dumfries High Street lies The Globe Inn, the favourite haunt of Robert Burns, where an unforgettable family adventure awaits.

Award-winning storyteller Kathleen Cronie of Mostly Ghostly Tours, will take you on a tour of this historic building, which dates back to 1610, and share a collection of curious and captivating stories, including some about its most famous resident, Robert Burns, who lived, loved and entertained here. You’ll see the poems he engraved on the window panes, hear about the tale of Tam O’ Shanter, one of his most famous poems, which inspires much of the artwork old and new in The Globe Inn, and even get to sit in the Bard's chair. There’ll also be stories about Rabbie’s time in the town and some horrible histories, too.

This is a family event suitable for those aged eight and above. Tickets are £10 adults and £8 children.

The tour will take approximately 90minutes.
