Propagation Workshop

Come and learn about the wonderful world of propagation with our Head Gardener and Glasshouse Specialist Simon McManus.

In this two-hour workshop held in the charming setting of Queen Victoria House in the Walled Garden, Simon will demonstrate how to sow seeds, take cuttings from indoor and outdoor plants and the sometimes-tricky art of layering and dividing. You will also have a chance to ask any advice or questions on propagation that you maybe interested in, or struggling with yourself at home. This really is a fantastic opportunity to benefit from Simon’s vast experience and expert knowledge in propagation gained over his 18 years at Floors Castle Gardens.

This unique workshop is open to everyone and included in your ticket price is tea or coffee with shortbread on arrival, and entrance to the Gardens and Estate Grounds which you can wander and enjoy at your leisure before or after your workshop, you will also receive 15% discount from your food bill (this includes Afternoon Tea, which must be pre-booked) when you eat in the Terrace & Courtyard Cafes and 10% discount from the Apple Shed Giftshop & Deli and Castle Giftshop on the day of your Workshop. Your discounts can be redeemed by producing your workshop confirmation at the till on payment.
