A whole host of events is taking place in August in Peeblesshire to mark the anniversary of the birth of one of Scotland's most famous writers.

Upcoming events at The Buchan Museum in Peebles:
The Museum will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of JB’s birth, with various events in Peebles.

Exhibition at Tweeddale Museum, Peebles (7th June-31 Aug) entitled ‘Text-Texture-Textiles’. John Buchan explored in textile art.

JB Country Walk (10am) and Town Walk (2pm) on Sat 23rd Aug. A walk around the area with readings. Starting from the Buchan Museum, Peebles. Free

Lyne Kirk commemorative service on Sun 24th Aug at 11.30am. Led by Prof Rev Ian Bradley
