DunsPlayFest

An annual NINE DAY Festival of New Theatrical Writing in Duns, which runs at the beginning of May in Berwickshire: Bringing Brand New Theatre To The Borders!
With over 80 events from rehearsed readings to full scale productions and from dance to comedy on our main stage, intersperced with original music, spoken word and open mic events on our cabaret stage and outlying venues, we believe there is something for everyone. The festival hosts TWO FREE Family days with an eclectic arts programme which aims to make Theatre Accessible. We hope to encourage and entice the non theatre goer into becoming a LOVER of Theatre Arts in all its forms!
We aim to support emerging and more established artists to continue to stage new work as we build our theatrical community, and offer a platform for work that not only entertains but also challenges and inspires!
Alongside our performance programme we also have a programme of workshops lead by experienced practioners for all aspiring thesbians!
