D&G Climate Hub's Tarras Valley Nature Reserve Netwalker

date_range 17th September, 2025

Every effort has been made to verify the accuracy of the event information but we recommend contacting the event organisers before attending.

The final Summer Netwalker for 2025 is the epic Tarras Valley Nature Reserve (TVNR).
TVNR is of course, a legendary community land buyout that put D&G Biodiversity and Climate action firmly on the international map.

The team and a raft of volunteers have been working super hard to regenerate a 36 Hectare site in Lower Tarras with indigenous trees to support improvements in biodiversity. It really is an awesome site to witness.

If you are working on a regeneration project yourself or planning for one, or are simply interested in how to undertake such work for a successful result, this is the Netwalker for you. And the excursion is FREE !!

The regeneration is in its infancy, helping to make clear the plan and the techniques that the TVNR team have chosen to employ.
TVNR's Kat Mayer will be guiding us round the site and can field any questions you may have about land regeneration to support biodiversity.
