Dalkeith Country Park Duck Race

Jump into Easter and kick start the holidays at the very first Dalkeith Country Park Duck Race. Cheer on your duck as it races down the river from Fort Douglas, with Easter prizes for the winning duck.

This fantastic family event opens the Easter programme at Dalkeith Country Park and gets the holidays off to an egg-cellent start. Pick up your toy duck from the Fort Douglas cabin and watch as they race down the river Esk. Whose duck will be the first to reach the bridge and win an Easter prize?

The Dalkeith Country Park Duck Race takes place on Saturday 01 April. Two races will be held, one at 11.30 and an afternoon race at 15.30.

Tickets are £2 per duck and can be purchased in advance or on the day from the Fort Douglas cabin, up to 30 mins before the race starts.
