Walk in the footsteps of the 5th Duke of Buccleuch and discover the magic hidden within Bowhill’s Victorian Designed Landscape, with our Guided Walks on Wednesdays throughout the summer season.

Exploring the immediate grounds around Bowhill House, inspired by Sir Walter Scott and the “picturesque improver” William Sawrey Gilpin, this 75 minute walk explores the connection between a working Victorian Estate and the romantically picturesque landscape.

Book as an add-on to entry to the Grounds for £8 per person.

Wednesdays in July and August, from 11am – 12:15pm.
Meeting point: Courtyard Entrance – Under the Archway.
