Beyond Borders International Festival

The Beyond Borders International Festival is an annual weekend-long event encompassing panel discussions and debates alongside a programme of music, visual and performing arts, film, spoken word, and well-being activities such as meditation, yoga, walks, and cycle rides. The event takes place at Traquair House in the Scottish Borders, where this magnificent historical backdrop plays host to discussions, exhibitions, visual and performing art, film and other events exploring the most pressing global issues of our time.

The 15th Beyond Borders International Festival is back at Traquair House on the 23-24th August 2025! Come and join us for a weekend of books, topical debate, poetry, art, music, walks, and wonderful conversations.
