An audience with LOKA in the Moat Brae Neverland Garden
Meet LOKA (Lynn, Orla, Kat and Angie) music-loving friends who originally formed an a cappella vocal group in 2016. They have since expanded their format and repertoire to include accompaniment by Tom (guitar) and Mike (keyboard) to perform an eclectic set that includes traditional, contemporary, and original songs /medleys that will appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.

They received the Dumfries and Galloway Life Performing Artist of the Year Award in 2017 and have made appearances at Carlisle, Moniaive, Eden and Doonhame festivals. LOKA have also appeared in many Big Burns Supper events and have played gigs in a number of local venues in and around Dumfries. In 2018 LOKA staged their show "LOKA and Friends" at Brigend Theatre and in 2023 a similar event at the Theatre Royal attracted a huge audience who thoroughly enjoyed the lively and entertaining show.

LOKA are now thrilled to be performing at the first of the Midsummer Music events to be held at Moat Brae in 2024, and can guarantee you an entertaining evening of versatile harmonies ... and probably some hilarity! With your LOKA ticket also comes free entry to the Peter Pan House (normal cost is £10) plus free entry to the garden. Another reason to arrive early is Darcy Da Silva performing in our café at 4pm!

LOKA start at 6pm in, enjoy a fabulous evening of live music, laughter, drinks and good company. Immerse yourself in the natural surroundings of our distinctive garden setting. On a dry day LOKA will perform outside and if inclement weather prevails we'll take our seats in the Garden Room. With stunning floor to ceiling windows and a 180 degree panoramic view of the Garden we really can guarantee you a perfect evening in a unique venue, regardless of the weather.

Our bar will be open from 4pm selling alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and snacks. (Our cafe is open all day but will close at 4pm)
Food platters are available for consumption at the event, but must be booked in advance.
