Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival

The fifteenth edition of Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival spans three programme strands.

Our cinema screenings take place inside Heart of Hawick’s 108-seat auditorium, our moving-image exhibitions take place at several venues within a short distance of one another, and our live performances and other events take place in a number of locations.

Featuring more than 60 films across an international programme of screenings, exhibitions, new commissions, live performances, and our Festival Ceilidh, this year’s festival embodies the warmth, togetherness, solidarity and critical engagement for which our flagship event has become known.
