About Stewart Brewing
Stewart Brewing is Edinburgh's local, independent brewery producing hand-crafted beer in small batches, to unique recipes.
Founded by Steve and Jo Stewart in 2004, the business is based upon three basic principles:
To produce the beers of the highest quality possible.
To provide an exceptional service to its customers.
To have fun while doing it.
Stewart Brewing quickly established itself as one of Scotland’s most successful and reputable breweries. Over the years, we have continued to innovate and develop, whilst upholding the traditional ethos of Edinburgh’s rich brewing history.
Having moved in to a brand new brewery in 2013, or rather a custom built stainless steel cathedral to the patron saint of beer, the Stewart Brewing team have created a number of experiences for you; the discernible beer drinkers. Please read below to find out about all the beer related fun that you can have:

The Brewery Shop stocks a full range of bottles, cans, mini casks, merchandise and gift options as well as operating a keg and cask hire service for the larger party.
We are based 7 miles south from Edinburgh city centre, just off the City of Edinburgh Bypass and within easy reach by car, taxi or public transport. Service number 37 from Princes Street towards Penicuik takes 45 minutes to get to Herd Terrace stop and we are a short walk away from there.
