Don't worry about the snow conditions...Seven days a week, fifty weeks a year, Midlothian Snowsports Centre, Hillend offers the exhilaration you would expect from Britain's longest and most challenging artificial ski slopes.

Two main slopes, three nursery slopes and jump slope are all floodlit and have something to offer every standard of skier or snowboarder. If you've never tried snowsports before, it's easy to start. Equipment is provided and a qualified team of instructors will introduce you to the first key fundamental steps you will need to take to the slopes. There are lessons for all levels, whether you are a keen racer or freestyler with race coaching and training also available. For an exhilarating alternative try tubing or book a tubing parties with party food and a free party bag included. After your session, why not relax in Cafe 360 and enjoy the stunning views of the Pentland Hills and keep an eye on all the action on the slopes .

The slopes are located just off the A702 , to the south of Edinburgh, off the city bypass.
Exit the Edinburgh City Bypass at Lothianburn junction (follow signs) and head for Biggar on the A702. The centre is 1/2 mile from the junction on the right hand side (just after the Steading restaurant) or take the LRT bus number 4 or 15 to Hillend. There is a short uphill walk to the centre.
