Brunstane Burn

About Brunstane Burn

As this stream flows through Brunstane, it passes through all kinds of habitats, including woodland, hedgerows, open green spaces and residential gardens. It runs into the sea at Eastfield near Joppa, passing under the Magdalene bridge. This is a walk and cycle way all along the burn and the route is now part of the John Muir Way, the coast-to-coast trail which stretches 134 miles (215 km) from Dunbar in the East to Helensburgh in the West.
