About Baytree House

Baytree House is an elegant Georgian town house, with original features of 18th Century architectural design such as high ceilings, sash & case windows, and sweeping wrought iron staircase. The large and sumptuous drawing room serves as a comfortable guest lounge with a real-flame fire, making it cosy in the colder months and thicks stone walls keeping it cool in hot weather. Perfect for relaxing after a hard days sightseeing, browsing the many books and magazines or simply watching TV or gaming on the Wii-u or board games.

All rooms are ensuite, including a spacious ground floor twin room and equipped with fluffy white towels, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock, bedside lamps and TV. Pets are welcome only in the ground floor room, away from other guest rooms on the first floor and near the garden. There is an additional charge for pets.

The bright and spacious dining room on the ground floor overlooks the pretty walled garden and has tables for two. Orders are taken at your table for a traditional, home-cooked breakfast.

Baytree Garden Studio is converted from the 18th century stables, located through the private courtyard to the side of Baytree House. It is totally self-contained, with its own private entrance, and enclosed patio garden that is overlooked by a bright conservatory - perfect for birdwatching. The conservatory has a table for two and soft-seating, from here you enter the stone-built studio apartment, with a fully equipped kitchenette, seating area and double bed with spacious ensuite shower. Towels and linen are provided as well as a welcome pack of bread, biscuits, tea, coffee etc all within the price. Pets are welcome at an additional fee.
