About Battle of Roslin Monument

The Battle of Roslin is said to be the bloodiest battle fought on British soil, with an estimate of estimated that 35,000 men losing their lives. This triumphant win for the Scots against the English was on 24 February 1303.
The monument marks the site of the battle and was erected by the Roslin Heritage Society.
