The 9th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival takes place over the 7th-9th July 2023 and features concerts, workshops, solo piping competition, Highland dancing competition, tune and song sessions all weekend and the very best in traditional music & dance in Scotland.

‘Event of the Year’ (sponsored by VisitScotland) finalists at the national MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards last year, this year looks set to be even better with performances by the Ciarán Ryan Band (Scotland), Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe (Boston USA) and Daniel Quayle (Isle of Man), Flook (Ireland), Amy Laurenson (BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2023), HEISK (Scotland) and Jenn Butterworth (Scotland) & Will Pound (England).
